Scientific Name: Arion circumscriptus silvaticus
Body Colour: Grey to blue-grey
Size: 3-4cm when mature
Habitat: Often associated with areas of high disturbance, such as; arable land, waste ground and gardens. Also common in woodlands and upland habitats.
Pest Status: Not considered a serious pest, however can build up to reasonably high numbers on arable land.
Extra Information: This species has two distinct lateral dark bands running the entire length of its body. This species lacks darker blotches and often has quite a monochrome appearance. The underside of this species is whitish and translucent. Its mucus is clear or light yellow and the head and tentacles are dark grey to black.
